Welcome to L'Altra Lingua

Hi! My name is Nicoletta and I am the founder and Italian teacher at L’Altra Lingua.

For over twenty years, I have been teaching Italian to students from all over the world. After completing a postgraduate specialization course and a PhD in Italian language teaching at the Università per Stranieri di Perugia, I worked with Italian universities and institutions in the fields of language teaching, teacher training and research in Italian as a second language.

In 2014, I founded L’Altra Lingua, a school dedicated to people who wish to learn Italian through personalized learning paths, either in person in Pavia or online.

I am a CILS examiner for the Università per Stranieri di Siena and I also collaborate with the University of Pavia, where I teach Italian courses for students on the Foundation Year and Marco Polo/Turandot programmes.
